Ras Tanura Port, situated on Saudi Arabia’s eastern coast, is the world’s largest oil port, handling 90% of the Kingdom’s hydrocarbon exports. It accommodates over 2,000 oil vessels annually and ships 9 million barrels of hydrocarbons daily, with a storage capacity exceeding 50 million barrels. The port’s facilities include 3 specialized terminals, 28 berths, and the ability to handle various petroleum products. Its export capacity is 6.5 million barrels per day, and it has a refining capacity of 525 thousand barrels per day, supported by a storage yard of 33 million barrels.
